LIFETIME WARRANTY.

We’re proud to produce some of the highest-quality cycling and outdoor clothing out there, but even in the best-made products defects occasionally occur. We guarantee Café du Cycliste clothing against factory defects in materials and workmanship for the “functional lifetime” (see below) of the piece. If you need to make a warranty claim, please get in touch. We’ll assess your case and, if successful, either repair or replace the item for free.

The small print.

- The lifetime warranty does not cover accidents, misuse, improper care, crash damage, and alterations or modifications, and it is exclusive to the first owner of the item.
- Pre-loved items including those sold through Recycliste are not covered (Recycliste items have their own policy, detailed on the Recycliste site). 
- Accessories, bags, sunglasses and shoes are excluded: garments only. 
- Items made in collaboration with other brands are also excluded. 
- By “functional lifetime”, we mean the time a garment can reasonably be expected to perform. Fabrics, stitching, zips, dyes and more will all be subject to natural wear and tear or degradation, and eventually the garment will reach the end of its natural life – this is outside the lifetime warranty.

CRASH REPLACEMENT.

One moment you’re upright, the next your ride – and your clothes – are in tatters. It can happen to anyone, and we don’t want the loss of your favourite kit to make matters worse.

Our commitment:
- We will replace any Café du Cycliste clothing damaged in a crash within 30 days of purchase for free.
- For clothing up to a year old, we’ll give you a 40% discount on a replacement item.

How it works.

- If you have a claim, please complete our crash-replacement form as soon as possible after the crash. 
- If you’re claiming for kit bought on CafeduCycliste.com use the email address associated with your order. 
- Upload your details and photos of the damaged kit (plus proof of purchase from one of our stores, if applicable).
- Once verified, we’ll either replace the damaged garment or send you a discount code by email, so you can get back rolling in style.
- Discount codes can be used online or in person at one of our stores.

Terms and conditions.

- The crash-replacement programme only applies to clothing purchased directly from us via the website or one of our Café du Cycliste stores.
- Items bought from Recycliste or our partner retailers are not covered. Accessories, bags, sunglasses and shoes are excluded: garments only.
- Items made in collaboration with other brands are also excluded.
- The 40% discount is calculated on the replacement purchase price.
- Crash damage only. Normal wear and tear is not covered.
- The replacement item has to be the same as the damaged item, or an equivalent. i.e. a jersey for a jersey, bib short for a bib short.
