We’re officially looking forward to spring and summer: fresh off the boat from Italy, our new fleet of rental bikes have arrived in Nice!

Fifteen Basso Diamantes in frame sizes from 48 to 60cm are now available to hire from our flagship boutique on Nice port. They come equipped with Fulcrum Sharq wheels with 57mm rims, Shimano Ultegra DI2 shifting and compact 50/34 chainrings and an 11–34 cassette to take the sting out of the uphills. Pedals of your choice are included in the rental, and a repair kit comes as standard.

Basso bikes have been 100% handmade in Italy since 1977, and the firm is now based in Bassano del Grappa. The Italian brand shares our values of craftsmanship and quality, and the desire to bring a luxury experience to all cyclists, and we can’t think of a better way to discover the classic cols and hidden climbs of the Nice backcountry than on a new Basso bike. 

Thanks to our continuing partnership with Basso, this year’s bikes are in an exclusive design, inscribed with our ‘Forever Outsiders’ motto in Japanese script.
