Hey! Tell us a bit about yourself.

I'm Moritz. I'm 40 years old, I'm from Munich, and my biggest hobbies are fly fishing and being in the outdoors. Snowboarding, surfing, skateboarding are also big passions of mine, and I'm really looking forward to getting into the cycling game as well.

What’s your relationship with Café du Cycliste: how did you get to know about us?

It was actually on Instagram. For me, it's very, very important that it is a sustainable brand. I really love and care about brands which are sustainable and take care of the environment and try to make a difference from all the other players in the game.

Tell us a little about Munich, for people that don’t know the city…

Munich is the capital of Bavaria, which is an area of Germany, that’s really close to the Alps. We have a lot of really nice rivers and lakes around here and also some lovely tracks and trails for riding a bike, of course! On a bike, in only one and a half hours, you're really close to the mountain area. Munich is quite a traditional place, it's a lovely city with a lot of nice people and very close to all the borders from Austria, Switzerland, Italy. So, this is why I really love it.

Can you speak a little bit about the new boutique and also the area it’s in?

We’re based in the centre of Munich, at Frauenstraße 12, near the Viktualienmarkt, which is an absolutely amazing old market place. We have a really nice store, very friendly and light, very warm and welcoming. So please, everybody who wants to come by is very, very welcome, and you will grab a coffee and have a look at the nice clothing and designs we have, and yeah, always feel welcome to pass by. There are three of us working in the shop right now, Coline, Theo, and myself, and everybody is welcome. Just come if for a chat and a coffee! We’re always happy to see people and are looking forward to getting to know you.
