Working as part of the marketing team, you will develop and execute a global PR strategy. Always working in-line with the Café du Cycliste brand positioning, you will refine and pitch a range of ideas across multiple publications, mediums and geographies.

Day to day you will need to:
- Build relationships with publications and freelancers across the UK, US, Asia and Europe
- Generate and pitch ideas, securing news coverage, features and product placement across a range of publications and media types (sports, lifestyle, business, fashion, travel)
- Speak and/or meet regularly with a broad spectrum of media to build relationships, and work with these contacts to ensure quality press coverage in line with the brand values
- Run seasonal and / or event-driven product placement campaigns, managing sample logistics, tracking and follow up
- Act as the daily point of contact for all incoming press queries, from interview requests to call-ins
- Aggressively build and maintain our global press /blogger / influencer list
- Contribute to the brand's own content creation through producing blogs, articles and social media posts
- Produce and present monthly and weekly PR reports across a range of geographies

You should have:
- A keen interest in PR/media, brand storytelling and content creation
- Two to four years of professional experience in a PR agency / in-house, with a proven track record of crafting brand narratives and securing coverage across a range of publications
- A thorough understanding of different media forms (print/online/social)
- Excellent communication skills – the ability to build relationships with a wide variety of people and to creatively “sell” a story
- Strong writing and editing skills, with outstanding attention to detail and an ability to quickly grasp tone of voice
- Strong project management skills – you can handle multiple projects at once in an organized manner and can structure your time given competing priorities

Working from the marketing briefs, you will have the responsibility for the creation of visual brand assets from concept to delivery including planning and executing shoots and post-production ;

STUDIO
Preparation, styling, art direction and execution of product photographs and videos for www.cafeducycliste.com to include:
- studio ghost pack shots of entire product range
- studio detail pack shots of entire product range
- studio product related creative photo and video shoots

OUTDOOR
Occasional preparation, styling, art direction and execution of product and story photos and videos in the field to include:
- product action shots for website pages
- story action shots for blog / journal content
- product action videos
- story / Brand action videos
- creative video or image based animation for website (banners, products, category and landing pages...)

MANAGEMENT
* communication and agreement of the project brief with creative, marketing, sales and other team members
* preparation and management of shoot planning within budgets
* management of the in-house studio and all required equipment and hardware
* management of post-production editing including co-ordinating with third party contractors when needed
* maintenance of a brand visual style both aesthetically and technically to include consistent studio and action set-up and post-production
* researching and developing new types of visual assets for the website and all marketing channels and benchmarking image quality and innovation against competitors in the cycling, fashion and other relevant e-commerce industries
* management of models and other third party providers
* post-shoot file management including adding metadata, creation of contact sheets, and uploading files to servers
* reporting on past, current and future projects to directors and other managers within the company
* responsible for organization and maintenance of digital asset management

- selecting visual assets to be used in PR and Marketing promotions and activities
- assist with organization and running of marketing events
