Nice Airport is one of the many reasons professional cyclists live on the Côte d'Azur – it's convenient and has flights to most of the places they need to go to race.
For normal residents and tourists, too, it's good to have an airport that's almost within the city. Situated on reclaimed land jutting into the Bay of Angels, it's close enough to town to cycle to, and there's a car-free cycle path all the way along the promenade.
When our photographer for our Autumn/Winter 2014 shoot came to town, our main destination was the mountains of the Alpes-Maritimes, only a few kilometres inland from the coast. But as we went to pick him up from the airport we decided to shoot some of the new City collection too.
